FreshDV is a site that I visit often to find out what is new in the world of video. Usually for at least the first half of each year (when new equipment is being introduced), they have regular updates. Their coverage of industry events such as the NAB show, CineGear and others is exceptional. For anyone wanting to learn more about film production, they also have a number of videos featuring professionals in the film industry that will give you some good insight into how others work.
