Only a few months behind

The fact that our last blog was at Christmas really says it all. It has been since then that we have been playing catch-up it seems. We are finally seeing the light of day, but still have a good number of projects in the works.

In February, we shot footage for a documentary in India. It is in the editing stage right now, but should be an exciting and informative program. We were in Mumbai and Coimbatore primarily and enjoyed ourselves. Be advised if you plan to make a visit, though, that it can be difficult to find a restroom when needed. The most amazing takeaway from the trip was the sheer number of people that live there. Everywhere you go, you are surrounded by people--even in the more remote parts of the country. One billion people live there. Be watching for the documentary on our site in the next few months.

We have recently finished school promotional pieces for Victory Baptist Academy in Weatherford, TX and Crown College in Knoxville, TN. You can see the latter at www.thecrowncollege.com. It is about 12 minutes long.

All Star is keeping us busy with promotional videos about each of it's lines of service. We have completed the Base Operations/Logistics division which was shot at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, and are this week putting the finishing touches on the Fleet Services division. For this one, we did location shoots in Colorado and Georgia. Last week we did a shoot in Kaiserslautern, Germany (K-Town, as they call it) for their next video about their operations in Germany. What a beautiful country.

Speaking of which, we also did a few days of shooting for our upcoming Americlips stock footage collection. We have footage now for a couple of volumes of "everyday" footage as well as for three specialty volumes. We will offer volumes of footage from Mexico, Scotland and Germany. Once we get the time to put these together, we will make them available for sale. Our plan is to make each volume a minimum of 100 clips at a price point of $100. This means each HD clip is only $1. We think this will be a great deal for video producers who are desparately needing HD footage.
